Z okazji 100 rocznicy urodzin Marilyn Monroe (ur.1.06.1926)

Opowieść zaskakująca w swojej konstrukcji i feministyczna w wymowie — nie rekonstruuje legendy, lecz poddaje ją krytycznemu spojrzeniu. To historia kobiety, która wyprzedziła swoją epokę, próbowała ustanowić własne zasady istnienia w świecie zdominowanym przez cudze oczekiwania — i została za to uciszona.

Inspiracją jest życie Marilyn Monroe, ale spektakl nie jest biografią. To kondensacja — jeden dzień, 19 maja 1962 roku. Dzień przygotowań do występu, który przeszedł do historii: „Happy Birthday, Mr. President”.

Tytuł No More jest tu przewrotny. To nie tylko deklaracja końca — to mroczna gra literami nazwiska Monroe. Nazwiska nadanego w procesie konstruowania wizerunku, produktu kulturowego, który miał spełniać określone oczekiwania. Nazwiska, które nie było początkiem, lecz narzędziem. I które — gdy przestało działać zgodnie z projektem — mogło zostać porzucone, zutylizowane, wyciszone.

W tej jednej dacie skupia się wszystko:
ciało przygotowywane do wyjścia,
umysł dryfujący między rolą a tożsamością,
pamięć, która nie układa się linearnie, lecz powraca falami.

Widz towarzyszy jej w intymnej przestrzeni — w napięciu między kreacją a prawdą, między głosem a jego utratą. Każdy gest staje się pytaniem o sprawczość. Każde wspomnienie — próbą odzyskania siebie.

Spektakl prowadzi do momentu kulminacyjnego: podejścia do mikrofonu.

Ale nie oferuje oczywistego spełnienia.

Czy zaśpiewa — czy milczenie okaże się silniejsze niż głos?

„Marilyn NoMore” nie opowiada o śmierci jako wydarzeniu.
Opowiada o procesie wyciszania.
O cenie bycia widzianą — i niesłyszaną jednocześnie.

A one-act monodrama that dismantles the myth and reveals the human being.

On occassion of 100th birthday of Marilyn Monroe (born 1.06.1926)

Surprising in structure and feminist in its perspective, the piece does not reconstruct a legend but subjects it to critical scrutiny. It tells the story of a woman who was ahead of her time, who attempted to define her own terms of existence in a world governed by external expectations — and was silenced for it.

Inspired by the life of Marilyn Monroe, the performance is not a biography. It is a condensation — a single day, May 19, 1962. The day of preparation for a performance that became historic: “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.”

The title No More is deliberately subversive. It is not only a declaration of an ending, but a dark play on the letters of the name Monroe. A name assigned in the process of constructing an image — a cultural product designed to meet specific expectations. A name that was not an origin, but a tool. And one that, once it ceased to function according to its design, could be discarded, neutralized, silenced.

Within this single date, everything converges:
a body being prepared for appearance,
a mind drifting between role and identity,
a memory that does not follow a linear path, but returns in waves.

The audience accompanies her in an intimate space — suspended between creation and truth, between voice and its erasure. Every gesture becomes a question of agency. Every recollection — an attempt to reclaim the self.

The performance moves toward its climax: the approach to the microphone.
Yet it refuses a predictable resolution.

Will she sing — or will silence prove stronger than the voice?

“Marilyn NoMore” is not about death as an event.
It is about the process of being silenced.
About the cost of being seen — and unheard at the same time.

Nathalie Sonnenschine an Artist, who will not hesitate to bare her soul.

She is a true hybrid of art and soul – a creative force blending Ballet, Burlesque, Fetish, Theater and Psychology. Former ballerina of Polish National Ballet, where she created main roles as soloist always untamed, now is even more unafraid to raise controversial topics such as abuse in ballet schools, depression, sex abuse or BDSM – all explored in her interdisciplinary projects that combine theater, film, dance, burlesque, fetish and literature.

Former soloist of the Polish National Ballet, graduate of the prestigious John Neumeier’s Hamburg Ballet School, founder and owner of Maestrya Ballet Lab – an exclusive ballet studio, psychology student, burlesque performer and the first Polish artist to hold international Queen of Burlesque titles:
