EUROPEAN BLUES CHALLENGE is an international European competition and festival promting blues music and related genres, held each year in a different country.
Twenty-four countries (affiliated with the European Blues Union) each send one representative, who then compete for the winner’s title in two semifinal concerts and a final.
It is a unique showcase of European creativity and current trends within the genre, as well as a rare opportunity to hear the very best European artists performing blues, soul, boogie, and other closely related musical styles.
