Deep Voices to dokumentalny monodram powstały w wyniku badań nad teatrem dokumentalnym i jego rolą w ukazywaniu realiów wojny, ze szczególnym odniesieniem do Gazy. Oparty na prawdziwych historiach oraz dziennikach Farah Al-Ghoul spektakl łączy osobiste świadectwa z materiałami audiowizualnymi, tworząc hybrydową formę teatralną.
Stworzony i wykonywany przez Tahani Salim, w reżyserii Sawsan Darwazy, spektakl splata dokument z emocją, łącząc teatr z narracją wizualną. Podejmuje tematy przymusowych przesiedleń, pamięci i wpływu wojny na codzienne życie, skłaniając do refleksji nad odpowiedzialnością jednostkową i zbiorową w świecie, w którym konflikt staje się stałym tłem ludzkiej egzystencji.

About the performance
Deep Voices is a documentary monodrama developed through research into documentary theatre and its role in addressing the realities of war, with Gaza as a central reference point. Based on real stories and the diaries of Farah Al-Ghoul, the performance brings together personal testimony and collected audiovisual materials in a hybrid theatrical form.
Created and performed by Tahani Salim and directed by Sawsan Darwaza, the piece intertwines documentation with emotion, combining elements of theatre and visual storytelling. It reflects on displacement, memory, and the impact of war on everyday life, while raising questions about individual and collective responsibility in a world where conflict becomes a constant presence.
